Nick Lopez singled up the middle, Emiline Pitre scored to give the Cats a 1-0 lead after one. NC State got on the board, as Cozart singled to right field, Pennington scored to tie up the game, 1-1 after three. Nolan McCarthy hit a Big Blue Bomb down the left field line, Ryan Nicholson scored to give the Cats a 3-1 lead after four. Makarewicz homered to right field, Soles scored to tie it up once more in the seventh. Cozart advanced to second on a wild pitch, Pennington scored on the wild pitch to give NC State the lead. Ryan Nicholson hit a Big Blue Bomb down the left field line to tie up the game in the bottom of the 9th and we will head into extra innings in Omaha. Mitchell Daly hit a Big Blue Bomb down the left field line and walks it off for the Cats.
