Mark Pope has another assistant coach as Alvin Brooks III, formerly serving at Baylor for the last eight seasons and 20 year coaching veteran. Brooks began his career in junior college at Arkansas-Fort Smith and Midland, then to division one, where he started at Bradley, then Sam Houston State, Kansas State and then joined at Baylor.
