Kenny Brooks has added to his coaching staff as his former associate head coach, Lindsey Hicks from Virginia Tech is now his associate head coach at Kentucky announced by Coach Brooks himself. Hicks served at Virginia Tech for just four seasons, 2021-2024, which included three seasons as an assistant coach, and one as associate head coach. During her time at Virginia Tech, the Lady Hokies reached the NCAA Tournament in all four seasons, won ACC Championship trophies, one tournament title in 2023, and a regular season title this season. Hicks was at Louisiana Tech for three seasons as assistant coach, then she worked at Northwestern, and before that she was at Alabama as their video coordinator. Prior to that she was at Morehead State for two seasons as an assistant coach.
